ABOUT MARISSA

 

Hi there! My name is Marissa Morton and I am a digital marketing specialist. I received my bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Media Communications from Colorado State University and have since gained extensive experience in copywriting, digital strategy, and social media management. 

Throughout my career, I have worked with teams in agencies, in-house departments, and from remote locations to achieve objectives and goals which has made me a master communicator-- a skill that's been invaluable during this industry transition to remote work. My organizational skills, discipline for deadlines, quick project turnaround, problem-solving abilities, and flexibility have all proven to be strengths within this field of work. 

I have experience working in health & wellness, travel & hospitality, beauty, sports & fitness, B2B, B2C, non-profit, and home & lifestyle industries. This broad experience has given me the opportunity to work with clients in various industries and I’m great at adapting my tone to align with different brand identities.

I am passionate about using the power of digital media for good. I am a total pop culture junkie so I'm always up to date on the latest trends, memes, and social movements. I love yoga, animals, cooking, sports, female empowerment, activism, God, beer, and spending time with loved ones!
